Paddy was the Founder and President of 'Sports and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by Paddy Jarit' which first opened its doors in 2002 and then joined forces with Elevate Physical Therapy in 2023. Paddy prides himself on bringing the highest level of athletic and orthopaedic rehabilitation skills to Fairfield County. Paddy received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia and his Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy, a Certified Athletic Trainer and a proud Member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science. Paddy's wide array of experience includes working with U.S. National and Olympic Festival Teams, the National Hockey League (NHL Mighty Ducks of Anaheim), the National Basketball Association (NBA Indiana Pacers), Major League Baseball (Cleveland Indians), as well as a multitude of National Football League, and NCAA athletes. He has also worked with dancers of all levels, including the travelling company for Phantom of the Opera and Kinky Boots. As adjunct faculty at Scared Heart University Paddy keeps current with the ever-changing science of physical therapy. Paddy also lectures nationally on shoulder and groin injuries as well as other sports and dance injury related topics.
Paddy resides in Trumbull, CT with his wife Rebecca and son Harrison. His two older children, Shaina and Zachary, are doing great and spreading their own wings.
